Righto! Heylo people! I've not ever updated here before, so, I SHALL DO NOW!

I'm Sam, a 15 year old fic-FREAK!

I don't really write many, and any I do write are probably Draco/Hermione - The forbidden pairing! ;)

I also enjoy reading Harry/Hermione, Ron/Luna, Hermione/Fred, Hermione/George...actually, quite a few! I have to say though, one of my fave pairings are Hermione/Snape...wierd as it may sound, the fluff ones are SO CUTE!

An introduction & an offering.

Hi! I just joined this community and I thought I'd introduce myself. My name is Jeannie and I'm a 25 year old H/Hr. I also ship Ron/Luna & Dan/Emma.

I thought I'd also include this H/Hr fanfiction I wrote. I hope you like it!

A letter to Harry.

Dear Harry,

You may be wondering why in the world I’m writing you a letter. I mean what would I have to say in a letter since we see each other every day? This: I love you. Yes, I know you know I love you. What you don’t know is I love love you. I know I’m rambling put please hear me out (or in this case read me out).

Let me start at the beginning. Or at least where I believe my more than "just friends" feelings for you started. It was fourth year and we were preparing you for the first task. Every time we met to practice the summoning charm, I had butterflies in my stomach. I figured it was just the excitement of spending quality time with one of my best friends. Now I know it was so much more. During that time I saw you suffer the indignity of having almost everyone think you a liar and the worry that came with being made a champion. I not only saw that but I saw what an amazing person you are. Even though things were so aweful, you were were always cautiously optimistic and always a good person. Who else would have told Cedric about the dragons?

Now you may be wondering why I didn’t tell you back then. I was a chicken. Yes, Gryffindor Hermione chickened out of telling the boy she liked how she felt. I was afraid you’d never see me as anything more than your brainy best friend, especially with Cho in the picture. So 4th year went on and I still didn’t tell you. How could I with your life in constant jeopardy and the return of Voldemort?

Well, 4th year ended and soon we were about to start out 5th year. All summer while we were preparing Grimauld Place I was working up the courage to tell you how I felt. Then the dementor attack and that seemed to herald in a truly horrible 5th year. So once again “brave” Hermione chickened out. I mean how was I supposed to tell you I fancied you when Voldemort kept getting into your mind, not to mention everything else that was going on. *cough*Cho*cough*

Now, I’m sure you must be at least a little confused right now. I mean, if I liked you so much then why did I get so mad when Ron started dating Lavender. And, why was I pushing you to get together with Ginny? Simple, I thought I was doing the right thing. See, the thing is I do care for Ron. I may even love him, but it’s never been in a boyfriend/girlfriend kind of way. I guess I always liked that Ron has had a thing for me. Yeah, I knew, I just never said anything about it. So, when Ron stopped paying attention to me and started snogging Lavender I felt abandoned. Shallow huh? Well, I guess we all have it in us. Please forgive my less than pleasant behavior during my quest to win back Ron’s attention. I never should have let my pride string Ron along like that and make me stoop to such low levels.

Now, what about my pushing you towards Ginny? I wanted you to be happy. You two seemed to get along well and you really did seem happy when you spoke with her. I figured that was fate’s way of saying you two were meant to be. Who was I to stop the formation of James and Lily part 2? (Let me take the opportunity to tell you how happy I am that you and Ginny have remained friends as have Ron and I.)

So as you can see, I Hermione Jane Granger have made some mistakes when it comes to relationships. I chickened out of telling you how I feel, I tried to turn a friendship into something it was never meant to be and I assumed I knew what was best for you. I don’t, know what’s best for you that is. I think that’s really up to you to decide. All I know is that I LOVE YOU.

So there it is, Hermione Jane Granger is madly in love with Harry James Potter

Hermione dropped her quill and read over what she had just written. *Dear lord, I can’t ever give Harry this letter. There is no way in the world that he could ever feel the same way about me* Hermione thought as she crumpled it up and tossed it in the direction of the rubbish bin.

“Hermione, dinner’s ready!” Molly Weasley called from the kitchen.

“I’ll be right there Mrs. Weasley.” Hermione called as she made here way out of the bedroom she had been sharing with Ginny over the summer.

Just as the door to the room had closed, Harry apparated into Ginny and Hermione’s room. *Darn, I really wanted to surprise Hermione. I guess she already went down to dinner* Harry thought as he surveyed the empty room. Just as he was about to leave the room, a crumpled up piece of parchment caught his eye. Curiousity got the better of him and he read it. By the time he had finished reading the parchment, a large goofy grin was spread across Harry’s face.

*Wow, I can’t believe it! Hermione actually feels the same way about me as I feel about her* Harry marveled

On his way down to dinner Harry made a plan to prove to Hermione just how much she meant to him. Harry was finally going to get the girl of his dream. Oh yeah, life is good.
